The Minshew Elementary Parent Teacher Association's mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

The Minshew PTA is a community of parents, teachers, staff, and supporters working together to make Minshew Elementary an even better place for every student.

We believe the best schools are built when families and staff work together. Through volunteer support, teacher appreciation, student programs, family events, fundraising, and community partnerships, we help provide opportunities and resources that make a meaningful difference at Minshew.

What We Do

From classroom resources and volunteer assistance to Staff Appreciation, we work to make sure the amazing people who care for our students feel supported, valued, and celebrated.

 

⭐ Create Experiences for Students
We help bring fun, enriching, and memorable experiences to campus—from assemblies and special programs to seasonal activities and student-focused initiatives.

 

❤️ Strengthen Our School
Through fundraising and community partnerships, we invest in projects and resources that enhance the Minshew experience, including playground improvements, classroom needs, and opportunities that benefit students across our school.

 

🐴  Build Community
We create opportunities for families to connect, volunteer, celebrate, and be part of the Minshew community. Whether you have an hour to volunteer, want to help behind the scenes, or simply want to participate in an event, there is a place for you.

 

Every Family Has a Place Here

You don't have to attend every meeting or volunteer every week to make a difference. Every contribution of time, talent, ideas, or support matters.

Our goal is to keep the things our Minshew families already love while continuing to create new opportunities that are inclusive, meaningful, and accessible to every Colt.

We are so grateful for the parents, teachers, staff, volunteers, and community partners who make all of this possible.

Together, we can make Minshew a place where every student feels supported, included, and proud to be a Colt. 🐴

The easiest way to support our school is by becoming a PTA member! You are not required to attend meetings or volunteer as a PTA member, but as a member, you have a vote at our general meetings and can be assured that your voice is heard. Join us in making a difference at Minshew!
